Sergio Ramos has admitted that Barcelona have the upper hand in La Liga.
Real Madrid right-back Sergio Ramos has admitted that current league leaders Barcelona must slip up if the Blancos have any chance of winning the Spanish Primera Division.

The Merengues are currently four points behind Barca and travel to Pamplona to take on Osasuna this weekend and Ramos admits there is no room for error.

"We have to stop thinking about the Copa del Rey and focus on La Liga," the Spaniard is quoted as saying by Madrid's official website.

"Unfortunately, we don't depend on ourselves in the league and we cannot afford to drop any points. If we do, the distance from the leaders will grow too large.

"I'd love to win a third league title and the other two trophies we aspire to hoist, but I'd rather take things slowly and focus on one game at a time.

"We cannot allow our small distance with the leaders to grow larger. There are many games left in the season and many things can change.

"In order to succeed, we must focus on winning every match and avoid thinking about anything else."

Looking ahead to their away fixture against Osasuna, the World Cup winner said, "Osasuna have always made things difficult for us at their stadium, but we know them well.

"Reyno de Navarra is a small stadium in which the crowd is very close to the pitch and puts a lot of pressure on opponents, but we should forget about the atmosphere and play our game to take three points."
