Everton captain Phil Neville and striker Louis Saha spoke of their disappointment in the wake of their 1-1 draw in the FA Cup with Chelsea after losing the lead and being held to a draw at Goodison Park.

The Merseyside team opened the scoring on 62 minutes with a Saha header, but they couldn't keep out a counter-attacking Chelsea who created a goal straight from clearing an Everton corner.

Phil Neville told ESPN: "We’re all disappointed I think second half we really took the game to Chelsea. First half it was really even-stevens, they had a chance we had a really good chance. I think if Seamus Coleman had put that in, a great tackle from Michael Essien, you’ve got to admire tackles like that. They save games for you. They counter attack on the break and score when we’ve really got all the play and all the possession and we’re really disappointed."

The tie will now be played again, this time in Chelsea's own back-yard, were it is always a challenge to get a result.
Neville added: "We’ve played really well against the big teams this season and we showed again today that we can play well and we are a good team and we’ve now got to produce that in the replay at Stamford Bridge because it’s going to be a hell of a task down there."

The game struggled to take off until well into the second half as both teams required a bit more poise and consistancy about their play, but the action hotted up as soon as Saha's goal went in and lasted to the end.
