James Beattie Joins Blackpool On Loan Until End Of Season

James Beattie has joined Blackpool until the end of the season on loan following a disappointing start to his Rangers career, according to The Sun.

The former Stoke striker is looking to make a return to the Premier League having endured a turbulent time at Ibrox following his move in August, making just seven appearances for the Glasgow side.

Beattie, who is contracted until the end of the season with the option of a further year, is looking to reignite his career under Ian Holloway at Bloomfield Road.

It is highly unlikely Rangers will choose to extend the ex-Everton man’s contract, and Beattie will hope that an impressive spell at Blackpool will secure a permanent move to this year’s surprise package in the Premier League.
