Deportivo la Coruna are set to hand Newcastle striker Xisco a return to his former club before the January transfer window closes.
According to ABC.es, Depor have not yet released any other information on the transaction as they are reportedly waiting for Argentine Jose Sand, transferred from Al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates, to sign his contract.
Xisco will be back with the side where he kick-started his career before moving to England on a €6.5million fee to play for Newcastle in 2008.
The 24-year-old, who has netted once with Newcastle in just 11 appearances, was then loaned to Spanish club the Racing Santander for the 2009-10 season.
