Palermo Taking Steps To Renew Antonio Nocerino's Contract, Agent Confirms

Nocerino is set to remain at Palermo on a long term as his agent confirms process for new deal is underway.
Palermo midfielder Antonio Nocerino is ready to extend his deal in Sicily, according to his agent Marco Sommella.

Nocerino, 25, joined Palermo in 2008 as part of the deal which saw Amauri move to Juventus, and having become a staple part of plans, he is expected to sign on.

"Nocerino will remain at Palermo and we are working for a renewal," Sommella told SportItalia.

"He has become a pillar at Palermo. Not many speak about him, but he is putting himself under the attention of Italian and European football."
