Tottenham To Offer West Ham £8 Million Plus Robbie Keane For Scott Parker

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be ready to offer £8 million plus Robbie Keane to acquire the services of West Ham United skipper Scott Parker.

The Hammers are currently fighting a difficult relegation battle, and are rock bottom of the Premier League after having amassed only 21 points from 24 games.

Goal.com UK exclusively revealed in December that the 30-year-old midfielder was willing to hand in a transfer request to force a move to Spurs, and now The Mirror reports that the north London club are willing to table an offer of £8m plus Keane to sign the former Newcastle United man.

Parker signed a fresh five-year contract with West Ham last September, and is believed to the highest paid player in the history of the east London club.

While West Ham club would be loathe to allow the midfielder to leave Upton Park, and have insisted they will fight off any bids, they have also admitted they would "go the extra mile" to sign a player of Keane's calibre.
