Centre-back failed to settle in England.
Sunderland have confirmed that Paulo Da Silva has joined Real Zaragoza for an undisclosed fee.

The centre-back joined the Black Cats from Toluca back in the summer of 2009 but has made just 24 appearances for Steve Bruce’s men.

The Paraguay international impressed in last summer’s World Cup, but injuries and the arrival of Titus Bramble have seen him fall down the pecking order.

Da Silva has now become the second player to leave the Stadium of Light following the exit of David Healy on loan to Rangers.
