Deportivo La Coruna Confirm The Signing Of Aris Thessaloniki's Javito

Spanish winger Javito flies in to complete a transfer to Deportivo from Greek side Aris.
Deportivo La Coruna have confirmed the signing of 27-year-old winger, Javito from Aris Thessaloniki.

The signing comes straight after the announcement that both Jose Sand and Xisco have signed for the club, giving Javito the opportunity to impress at the top level in Spain after leaving the lower leagues in 2006 to join Aris.

Javito snatched a memorable goal against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Europa League, helping the Greek side qualify to the knockout round at the expense of the reigning champions of the competition.

The former Barcelona youth player will arrive in Spain today to undergo a medical and sign his new contract. Details of the deal have yet to be released but with Javito's current deal in Greece set to expire in July, the fee is thought to be minimal.
