Avram Grant is set to be sacked as manager of West Ham, with the board lining up former Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill as his replacement.
And today's result against Arsenal will have no impact on the board's decision, according to Sky Sports News.
Grant has not been given a long time as manager of West Ham, completing only 22 Premier League matches so far, accumulating 20 points, leaving them bottom of the table.
However, Grant has taken West Ham to the brink of the Carling Cup final, needing only a draw away to Birmingham to reserve their place at Wembley.
Martin O'Neill has been out of football since leaving Aston Villa, and odds on him becoming manager at Upton Park have been slashed from 20-1 to 2-1 on with one bookmaker.
