Bayer Leverkusen coach Jupp Heynckes is impressed with Hannover's performances so far this term.
Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen await a difficult home match against Hannover on Friday evening and head coach Jupp Heynckes is aware that it won't be easy for the Werkself.
"I am quite impressed by Hannover’s team. It's not a coincidence that they sit third in the Bundesliga table. Their team is success-oriented, they run a lot, play aggressively and are very physical," said Heynckes on the club's official website.
"That we haven’t done too well at home this term had to do with the injury problems in the first half of the season. This is looking a lot better right now, so we will become more stable at home. I can already sense this in training.
"It is important for us to focus on our defence and keep a clean sheet for a change. And we need to find the balance to attack creatively."
Bayer Leverkusen currently sit second in the table with 36 points, while Hannover have accumulated 34 points and are third.
