Sao Paulo Legend Rogerio Ceni Cannot Wait For Rivaldo Arrival

Rogerio Ceni believes that new arrival Rivaldo still has what it takes to fill the number 10 shirt at Sao Paulo.
Sao Paulo goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni has admitted that he is looking forward to playing with former Barcelona star Rivaldo, as the arrival of the playmaker draws closer for the Brazilian giants.

Rivaldo is due to be presented as a Tricolor player tomorrow, and the transfer of the 38-year-old World Cup winner has excited fans and staff at the club alike. Ceni was a team-mate of Rivaldo in the successful 2002 World Cup campaign, and announced that he is keen to renew their partnership at the Morumbi.

"Rivaldo is a man of great character, he has taken care of himself and he is a player who has arrived to fill a gap in the team. Sao Paulo saw in Rivaldo a player who can put on the number 10 shirt and match the team's legends," the veteran of over 900 matches for Sao Paulo told reporters in Thursday's press conference.

"Technically, I have no doubt that he is still on a different level. He will come here with great support from the Sao Paulo faithful. In the internet polls, in the fans' forums the approvals is over 70%."
