Napoli Keeping Tabs On Lille Winger Gervinho

Lille attacker Gervinho has attracted the interest of Napoli.
According to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, ambitious Italian outfit Napoli are closely monitoring the progress of versatile attacker Gervinho, currently under contract with Europa League hopefuls Lille.

The Partenopei are reportedly looking to add some more depth to their attack and consider the 23-year-old Gervinho as the perfect signing.

Gervinho started his professional career with Beveren and also played for Le Mans before joining Lille in the summer of 2009. The Ivory Coast star has since developed into a key player at the Ligue 1 table toppers.

The attacker has previously been linked with clubs such as Olympique Lyonnais, Bayern Munich and Liverpool, but Lille have yet to receive an official offer for Gervinho.

The report reads that Napoli aren't considering a swoop for Gervinho this winter, but the Serie A outfit could very well make a move for Gervinho at the end of the season.
