Stuttgart will have to make do without Arthur Boka and Christian Gentner for a while due to injury.
Beleaguered Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart have received some disappointing news on the injury front in the build-up to the league match at home to Nuernberg on Saturday afternoon.
Head coach Bruno Labbadia will have to make do without the services of wing-back Arthur Boka and midfielder Christian Gentner when the Schwaben take on Nuernberg as both players have sustained injuries.
The 27-year-old Boka suffered a knee injury during the international game between Ivory Coast and Mali in Paris on Tuesday evening. An initial examination has diagnosed a torn inner ligament in his right knee, which could keep him out of action for several weeks.
Gentner tore an outer ligament in his right ankle during training on Wednesday. It's not yet exactly known how long the former Wolfsburg star will be sidelined, but he will definitely miss the match against Nuernberg.
Stuttgart are battling against relegation this season and currently sit 17th in the league table with 19 points from 21 games.
