Inter Assistant Coach Giuseppe Baresi: Every Game Like A Final After Fiorentina Win

Baresi takes cautious approach as Inter get back on track with 2-1 win over Fiorentina.
Leonardo had nothing to say following Inter's win over Fiorentina having lost his voice, but assistant coach Giuseppe Baresi made his point clearly as the Nerazzurri aim to close the gap at the top.

The result allowed Inter to get back on course after their weekend loss to Juventus, and Baresi believes a run for the Scudetto is more than credible.

"It was important winning three points, especially after the defeat at Juventus," Baresi told Inter.it.

"It was good to get back on track as we met one of the most in-form teams in the league, but we did well and were compact.

"We believe Inter should take it a game at a time. We are not racing anyone, but we are racing ourselves.

"We had to fight, play and show will for the three points."

Baresi insists Inter won't give up the hustle on Milan easily.

"We are behind and have to recover, playing every game like a final."
