Twente Striker Marc Janko Doubtful For Vitesse Clash

Marc Janko is a doubt for the match against Vitesse at the weekend.
Eredivisie outfit Twente have received some disappointing news on the injury front in the build-up towards the league match at home against Arnhem side Vitesse on Saturday evening.

Head coach Michel Preud'homme will likely have to make do without the services of prolific hitman Marc Janko at the weekend after the Austria international picked up a hip injury that's still troubling him, according to a report in Voetbal International.

Janko sustained the injury in his side's 1-1 league draw against Utrecht last week and already missed the international friendly against Netherlands due to the knock.

The towering attacker will undergo a late fitness test on Saturday to decide whether he can play against Vitesse.

Meanwhile, UEFA have decided to move Thursday's Europa League match between Rubin Kazan and Twente from Kazan to Moscow due to the weather conditions in the Russian city. Temperatures could drop to -25 Celsius in the evening in Kazan in the coming days.
