Juventus can expect to beat Inter if they play to their full potential, claims former hitman Gianluca Vialli.

The 1996 Champions League winner is confident his former club can build on last week's win over Cagliari to squeeze past Inter in Sunday's big game.

"Juventus can beat Inter, perhaps suffering, but it is in their capacity," Vialli told the press, as reported by La Repubblica.

"The win against Cagliari has done good for the team's morale and this is important."

Vialli played alongside Alessandro Del Piero for two years before leaving for Chelsea in 1996, and he feels the club will reward the legendary captain with a new deal.

"Del Piero? If he is negotiating for his renewal then it is a great sign as he can still hold his own on the pitch."
