Early reports point to Hammers securing move.
Tottenham have expressed their concern over the leak that West Ham United will win the battle to take over the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Games.

Early reports have suggested that officers from the OPLC (Olympic Park Legacy Company) are set to recommend West Ham's bid to board members when they meet on Friday morning.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy had suggested the club would consider applying for a judicial review if they believed their bid was not given fair consideration.

The club released a statement that reads: "Whilst we are concerned to read that there appears to have been a leak of information from the OPLC about what their recommendation and decision may be, we regard it as premature to make any comment at this stage."

The OPLC will be required to present their findings before the government and the London Mayor's office will make a final decision.

It appears that the main issue is the athletics track, with members of the Tottenham consortium said to be concerned that the row over whether the track should be retained has become a highly charged political issue.

While West Ham have promised to retain the track, Tottenham plan to create a football-only stadium without it.

And many, including London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe, are against that idea.
